Masterclass on 3D Printing: Hands-On Training to use, maintain, and repair a 3D printer - 2025

On 16th April, 2025, Chain For Change in collaboration with Expedición Solidaria, Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain, and St. Xavier's College, Maitighar conducted four-day masterclass is designed for project interns, teachers and technical staff who gain practical skills in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing 3D printers. Mr. Miquel Cañada Molino who is working as Laboratory Technician in Digital Manufacturing, Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain facilitated this session to 7 project interns and 5 teaching and technical staffs from St. Xavier's College, Maitighar.

At first, Mr. Miquel assessed the knowledge of the participants in operating the 3D printers. Then, participants learned how to operate and repair 3D printers. They also learned to use different designing and slicing software for each 3D printers and print some models. Mr. Miquel also gave the participants some tips and guidelines to handle the 3D printers in a correct manner for better results.
