Field Assessment of Inclusive Hike to Bajrayogini Temple - 2026

On 16th April, 2026, our Founder & President, Mr. Abhishek Shahi, along with Mr. Alfonso Xose Gonzalez Cabacos (Teacher), Spanish Students from the EWE Consortium, Mr. Rajesh Bhandari (Representative from Access Nepal), and Ms. Sharmila Khadgi (Freelance Tourist Guide), conducted a field assessment hike to Bajrayogini Temple. The team visited and evaluated the hiking route to assess its suitability for organizing future inclusive hiking activities for persons with visual disabilities.

During the assessment, the team observed that the hiking trail was relatively short and did not provide sufficient space to comfortably facilitate participants with visual disabilities. They also noted the absence of essential facilities such as accessible restrooms and other basic amenities along the route. Despite these limitations, the route offered a pleasant hiking experience with beautiful greenery and a peaceful temple environment, making it an enjoyable destination for nature and cultural exploration.
