What We Do

Accessible Computer Training for Students with Visual Disabilities - 2025

From 17th August, 2025, we officially launched our first season of the Project ACTS (Accessible Computer Training for Students with visual disabilities), where two of our interns Ms. Sumi Kaizen Lama and Ms. Kristina Sapkota had been supporting around 50 students with visual disabilities studying in Laboratory School, Kirtipur. Both the interns were trained by CFC members to guide students with visual disabilities to use computer in friendly and accessible manner.

ACTS (Accessible Computer Training for Students with visual disabilities) is an initiative by Chain For Change in collaboration with Nymna Technology. The project equips students with visual disabilities studying in inclusive schools with essential digital skills, from screen reader navigation and Microsoft Office to internet use, accessible educational tools, and AI technologies. By connecting accessibility with ability, ACTS empowers learners to thrive in education, and daily life actions beyond barriers.
